The Timeline Editor in Blender defaults to displaying time in frames. This can be useful, but we may also wish to see our timeline display in seconds and minutes. Here’s how…
Change Timeline to “Use Timecode”
To see seconds displayed in the Blender timeline, go to the view menu at the top of the Timeline Editor. Check the box for “Use Timecode.”

Now you will see seconds displayed in the timeline instead of seeing frames.
We can toggle back and forth between frames and seconds by hovering our cursor over the timeline and pressing the keyboard shortcut Control + T.
